I just want to wake up and realize this is just a really really bad dream. All the secrets I have worked so hard to keep hidden my whole life have been found out.

Well... of course I don't know how old you are or what secrets it is you've kept hidden that now have been found out. But I certainly know something about what having this happen feels like. In my case, not ALL of my secrets have come out. (At least not yet. I do still have one or two hidden.) But I also have a big one that came spilling out about a dozen years ago. And to this day I regret that it did.

One thing I'm finding is that the older I get the more difficult it seems as though it's becoming to keep my own stuff under wraps, so to speak. Sometimes I think the older I get the crazier I get & the harder it is to keep it all contained. Anyway... I could go on but I'll stop there. I hope that you will be able to find peace with having your secrets exposed. I know how vulnerable that can make you feel.

I am so sorry. I am a very prixate person myself, @Twitch99. I remember several times that something similar happened to me. I felt violated and as if my sense of privacy had been shattered forever. I hope things get better for you.

This is not the first time I've had some secrets found out but this is the first time ALL of them have been brought out. The struggle to keep my head above water is so very hard right now.

Mickey it was bad. It was very bad. My wife and I are trying to work through it but there is no guarantee that we will be able to. It has fractured the already frail relationship I have with my brother. At this point I don't want to ever see or speak to him again. My parents are disappointed in me, to say the least. I don't know how my brother's wife's family is taking it. I'm sure not good. There was a lot that came out and all of it was very damning. Nothing criminal but most of it highly frowned upon by normal society.
