Teachers at school often commented how I wasn't 'confident' and how 'shy' and 'withdrawn' I was

I remember one comment in particular

'I hope fuzzy bear becomes more confident in the 6th form... and commented on my good exam results

unfortunately passing exams didn't stop the abuse or remove my self doubt and anxiety.

and I still have that anxiety... which is one of the hardest things in the world to stop... how can I stop my anxiety without deleting myself from this world (meds not an option)
(rhetorical question …)

ugh. I had another thought but am 'moving on' from it

(sorry so many posts )

Teachers
They are considered professionals

Mine also wrote in my report "TS is a quiet shy pupil."
TS was too scared to find her voice....

I wonder if we really have true anxiety?
Yes we experience it that way...
But maybe our unconscious brain cons the amygdala to trigger the effects to warn us of the things that have been a problem to us when we were cubs?

Our emotions are strong...
It weakens us

I am pleased that thought has been cancelled...

Moving forward (temporarily) your inner cub may need to spend some quality time with you dearest Fuzzybear?

Sending compassion and empathy to you and your snake.

Hmmm...? Is it possible your teachers - or a few of them - were puzzled how such a good student could be so "unconfident"?
I wonder if those teachers allowed themselves to consider your home environment might be responsible for the paradox?
