My eyes are red;
two blurry to see.
I'm lying in bed,
but cannot sleep.
Afraid of nightmares,
that keep me awake;
All of my fright stares
me straight in the face.
I feel so dead;
I'll always be locked inside my head,
with eyes so blurry.
The nights are cold,
filled with my fears;
this silence is too
loud for my ears.
