I keep having hallucinations of the grim reaper. He watches me through my bedroom window. He follows my car. Hes always with me. My depression has been getting very bad and i feel like I'm working my way up to a nervous break down. Any help is appreciated.

The only help I can provide is listening and talking.

So, do you feel like He is threatening you?

Have you ever been psychotic before? Seen things? Heard voices?

Are you by chance taking any over-the-counter meds?

Have you spoken with your psychiatrist? They really, really need to know what it going on with you. They may suggest a med change. Please call them as soon as they open, if you have not already done so. I am very sorry you are having these terrifying hallucinations. I have had those before, myself. I went to the hospital.

I believe the hardest thing about visual hallucinations is they seem so real. But you must remember, your brain is playing tricks on you. What you are 'seeing' is the creation of your unwell brain. It is not real. Not really the reaper. Your brain made all this up.

Hang in there. Please call your psychiatrist immediately. Please don't take any over-the-counter cold medicines right now. Some of them can cause these specific kinds of hallucinations. Thinking of you and sending you positive vibes. Let us know how this goes.
