It depends on the person. If I get bad vibes from the get go I'll probably never trust them. I'll tell them as little as possible or lie. If they seem trustworthy I'll tell them little bits for a year or so till I fully trust them.

I can start out trusting people without proper foundation.
 If that trust is broken or warning signs occur, then my trust is dented considerably. Twice bitten.... Always shy...   Hugs and respect

I’m reasonably trusting. I’ll think well of someone until they give me reason not to. I don’t blindly trust, like I wouldn’t leave a stranger in the park watching my baby.

I think trust is something that can be given in a moments time, but if there is a vibe or gut feeling something is not right. Then trust your instincts.
Trust is really something that builds up over time, you learn from mistakes not to repeat those actions. But trust is most important thing in any relationship, if that trust is broken only a second chance is the limit. |

I don’t think I’m a trusting person. I need quite a long time to trust and a lot of previous monitoring reassurance work before I can say I trust someone. And of course, I make lots of mistakes: I let me draw by prejudices (without being aware, at first sight) and I tend to be quite negative in this aspect. I mean, I a priori think that I’m not gonna connect with this person. It’s not so much because of them but because of me.
So, I got some happily surprised in this sense sometimes.

I'm too trusting and too suspicious. An odd combo. Sometimes I get it right, but I fear more by accident than design.
