Quite a few songs by Bread were very sad. If, Everything I Own (those two songs were about David Gates' father passing away when he was in high school), Aubrey, Guitar Man, and Lost Without Your Love (a comeback song by that group after a four-year hiatus). I really loved David Gates and Bread. He was great when he went solo. Funny thing about when that song Lost Without Your Love was playing on the radio, I had gotten back with an old high school sweetheart. |
