I take solace in reports of death. People make it seem easy. I figure if they can do it so can I. I don't mean pandemic deaths, that just sounds uncomfortable.

But your run of the mill shootings, accidents, etc. Every day someone who I have no reason to assume has more courage than me manages to do it. I find that comforting, or at least as close as I approach to comfort.

I've made 2 major, if unsuccessful, attempts of my own in the past. So I have some personal familiarity with this subject. Suicidal thinking can sometimes be a coping mechanism rather than a serious consideration. If you're having suicidal thoughts, I hope they're of the former type rather than the later. Please take care...
