Any ideas to get through those days that are less than successful?
Is it best to not try? |

Is it best to not try? That's a good question. Yes, on the whole I'd say it's kinder on ourselves not to try. Some part of us must be in pain, and if that part were a child, we wouldn't force it |

Today I had something planned. But the morning started with a person texting me and blaming me for something I am not responsible.I wanted to continue with my own schedule so that my day has some .meaning.But wanted to defend myself so bad that I replied back.I got dragged into the mud again.I defended myself more ,explained more to no avail. There were barrage of texts coming fast at me paragraph and paragraphs kept coming.By afternoon I realised it was a trap to re enter into my life as I have minimized contact with some people so that I can stay sane.I stopped replying to their blame. They got angry at my silence.Half of the day is already spent wasteful. So I ignored their anger and went out and did some shopping.Hmmm felt good. And I learned my lesson.Never engage with these kinds of people via texts.

I know that Thirty shades does try. I think she is expressing her pain and exhaustion.

I'm not judging her. I'm simply saying I wish I had the option to not try. I gave that up when I went back to work. I think that's why the whole time I was on disability people were saying work was good for you. I know I'm exhausted from working however it beats the alternative.

If I'm not totally overwhelmed, I attempt to maintain whatever bits of my usual routine I can -- meals, reading, cleaning, sleep, etc. Yes, there are times when I'm unable to do anything, and other times when I mindlessly go from this to that.

It sounds like you were goaded into contact and have done the right thing. I unfortunately bit when goaded recently and had to remove myself after realising my error too. Hugs and respect |

I didn’t work for 10 years while raising my child on my own with ptsd. My body is fine. It’s my moods that suffer. My situation is: right now I can do nothing. I’m powerless . It won’t be resolved by itself. |

I have CPTSD, anxiety and severe depressive episodes. My body is burnt out. I am too in a situation right now where I am powerless. I am now finding small ways to take back some power but it is hard. Sometimes there are no ways to take power back. Raising children alone is hard with PTSD. You sound a credit to yourself and your child. |

Thanks. I have had all of those symptoms but I also have ambition and that burned through them. I don’t know what I have right now, just a general dissatisfaction and unhappiness. |
