Not leaving, darling. Just an attempt at humor.

No, I feel very strongly that all of this is not meaningless; that we are here for a reason

I wish I could explain to you why I feel this so strongly, but I can’t. It’s just a powerful instinct, that’s all.

I had to take a diazepam today. The pain became too much

I also had some wine.

I feel calmer....

I agree LT we do need to talk more and find better treatments.
You are a inspirational person on the bus.
Thank you for being here.

Thank you also Fuzzybear, Rohag, Mimi and Mopey for being here and those who read in silence

We know more about anxiety and depression than the normal people.

If only they would listen to us.

Support, understanding and love go a long way to helping us.

Is it wrong that some of us need a little help to stand tall?
Is it wrong that kindness and support help us grow?

I am reading a very interesting book by Sam Harris called "Waking Up". Sam is a neuroscientist of some sort who became interested in meditation as a way of transcending our active and impermanent daily world.

I first heard him on a podcast where he described a beginner's experience of meditation, where, he said, the first thing you notice is that your mind is completely out of control. He describes the "blizzard" of our thoughts as they shoot in an out-of-control way across our mind.

I think that not only the mind, but the body, can be out of control or out of balance and that's why medication can help some of us.

But the subject is HUGE, and I, like the rest of you, wish there were better answers. Just to experience the suffering on this forum is heartbreaking.

As always, much love to all.
