I genuinely can't take much more. Tonight has been such a garbage night. I just don't feel wanted no matter where I go. College, work, my own home, it never ends. I just want friends, I want to feel loved. What did me in is my crush is ignoring my text messages a lot and I feel the friendship has died out. She doesn't want me around anymore. I just want to put my fist through a wall. I'm so sick of life. I'm sick of feeling not wanted. I need someone to talk to, I need help. I can't navigate these awful feelings and thoughts anymore. I have been hurt over and over by people and I'm just so done. What do I do at this point? What do I have to do to feel loved and wanted? I'm just out of ideas and I'm losing hope.

Friendships are tricky, especially male/female ones. and yes, it really sucks feeling lonely and unloved. i wish i had the answers..so sorry you are having such a hard time.

I need to get involved in some capacity, my work opens up again soon, i dont know if my college will open for the fall, but for the most part im done, i cant take anymore of this, even if i do make friends, i can never relate to anyone. Its just exhausting and i dont want this anymore.

I don't want this life either. I'm friendless too. The only thing I can do is make myself better, and keep talking to the professionals. Asking for help when needed. We don't have to do this alone. Friends will come when the time is right. At least that is what I believe. I know life takes work and sometimes it feels like we are afraid to do the work. So ask for help, get feeling better, even if it's five percent. Find hope. At least that's what I have to tell myself, I need to find hope too.

I recall reading your post in the Gender forum in addition to this one. I don't know if you're seeing a therapist or not... or if you are for how long you've been doing so. But from what tiny bit I know about you, it sounds to me as though you have a lot of difficult concerns going on. And the current pandemic situation just magnifies all of that.
I know for myself, even though I'm not much concerned about getting the coronavirus because I'm mostly a hermit, the situation has still caused old concerns I thought had finally burned themselves out to re-ignite. Perhaps it's time to be seeing a counselor or mental health therapist if there is some way you can do so in an effort to begin sorting some of this stuff out? I know, from personal experience, how difficult some of these issues can be. My best wishes to you. ![]()
