Has anyone else heard of ho'oponopono?

It's means "to make right right". I just discovered it a few weeks ago. It's a Hawaiian spiritual practice for finding peace. I'm new to it, but so far I really love it.

Basically you take whatever thing, whether person or concept, is upsetting you. Like I'm kind of scared of wintertime because my depression always got worse in the cold months. So I've always kind of dreaded the fall time.

And you say to that person or concept:
"I'm sorry. Please forgive me. I love you. Thank you."

Like for fall time:

"Fall time, I'm sorry for blaming my depression on you. Please forgive me for taking you for granted. I love you for how beautiful your colors are and how calm your cooler air feels. Thank you for showing up even though I wasn't kind to you."

It's just so cathartic and it really opens up your heart when you're feeling scared and small.

Has anyone else tried it? Am I doing it right?

Lovely idea, instead of being bitter and fearful to be grateful.

I am also using Ho'oponopono for several years now and it's indeed a very effective method.
And yes, you are doing it right.

The mantra that you are using is the most well known ho'oponopono technique. But there are also some very powerful prayers which are a lot less known.

These prayers can be used for forgiveness, reconciliation and even Karmic cleansing. They can delete all our negative memories and beliefs.

This is the original ho'oponopono prayer, given to us by Morrnah Simeona, the founder of modern-day ho'oponopono.
It is one of my favorite prayers:

“Divine creator, father, mother, son as one… If I, my family, relatives, and ancestors have offended you, your family, relatives, and ancestors in thoughts, words, deeds, and actions from the beginning of our creation to the present, we ask your forgiveness… Let this cleanse, purify, release, cut all the negative memories, blocks, energies, and vibrations, and transmute these unwanted energies to pure light… And it is done.”

All other Ho'oponopono prayers you can find here:

I hope you enjoy them!
