i've been feeling depressed on and off for a couple years now, but i'm scared to ask for help or to tell anyone. i guess i think they'll just blow me off and i'll be right where i started. how should i go about telling/asking people?

start with your doc or a crisis line. glad your here and sorry you are having depression. there is hope.

Sometimes I have a hard time talking to doctors, so I write notes. When you do see your GP again write a note and tell him or her that you are having some depression symptoms. He will tell you where to go from there. Maybe he can prescribe something for you.
