Happy Thanksgiving.

I don’t celebrate it here but would love to experience it. Looks like delicious food.
Is it true that it’s almost a more important tradition than Christmas?

Hello, MatBell! I'm not confident in authoritatively answering your question. With the years I have become a largely minimally-participating observer of the society around me. My impression is the importance of Thanksgiving varies from family to family.

When I was young, one almost never saw Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving. Now it is common to see Christmas decorations and commercial sales during much of November. I believe I saw the first Christmas decorations this year - in a store - sometime in October.

I don't think it's bigger than Christmas. @Rohag is right. Christmas decorations come out earlier and earlier this year. I had a hard time finding Thanksgiving decorations.

For Thanksgiving I will be alone, but that's okay. I will order a take out Thanksgiving dinner from a fancy restaurant, eat it on my couch while I watch "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" from Narnia.

I will be alone for Thanksgiving as well. I plan to order something nice. Maybe a turkey dinner with all the fixings. And chocolate cake or pumpkin pie would be good. I'll probably play games. Hope you enjoy your movie.
