I would say doing vigorous exercises. The bike riding helps me a whole lot and it's my favorite exercise to do. Also I do workouts with the music that I pick out. It helps also but not quite as good as the bike riding.
Talking to other people helps, too. But there are times when they sink me more than they lift me up. |

The time, as in late at night seems better than other periods. Darkness and quiet in general seem to help, mainly to calm the mind.
Strenuous exercise is good, too, especially the period immediately afterwards. I guess the brain chemicals flow faster along with everything else. Finally, there's the abstract thought of one day, maybe soon, getting away from everything and living freely somewhere remote, or at least some place that's not here. |

Playing my games helps a lot. And I find relaxing with some kind of coffee beverage helps too.

Being out in & experiencing Nature. If it's impossible to go out, watching birds through a window. If that's not possible, watching tv nature programs or videos.

Exercise with walking my dog outside or exercising inside the house with exercise dvd, also watching a funny movie, doing something constructive such as cleaning up a cluttered area, and getting out the house once or twice per week even to grocery shop, go to the post office helps my mood some. Sunday is a tough day as often bummed before the start of the work week and Monday so getting out and walking that day really helps.

I wish that I knew. Someday I don't want to get out of bed. I feel so down.
