The as-is bus is simultaneously near and far.

I have been discarding old papers. (I date from the days of paper.)
Each document challenges who I was and what I have become.
It is easy to discard paper. It is not so easy to discard the realities and history attached to each piece.

I am interested in induced ketosis -- forcing the brain to use ketone bodies rather than glucose for energy -- as a means to fight mood and neurodegenerative disorders. I understand intermittent fasting can play a role. (Here's one example article from PubMed.)
