Hi @jrae.
It could mean that you're actually improving psychologically or that, even though you're still inside the dark place, you're actually coping better. It could mean that. I can relate to your post and, for me, if I find that the dark place doesn't seem so dark anymore, and I'm still sticking to a positive path forward, then, hey, it has to be a good sign. It has to be. Keep going, friend. Keep going. 🙏 __________________ "A flower falls, even though we love it; and a weed grows, even though we do not love it."- Dōgen

oh very much still in the dark place.
been struggling a LOT with some of the 'self - hatred' stuff. lines like 'you're just a failure', 'you're a terrible/horrible person', 'you're the worst person in the world' .... i don't think it's more 'improving' so to speak. maybe more along the lines of there might be a part of me starting to believe that s**t :bigsigh: |

@Breaking Dawn,
https://mysupportforums.org/7051424-post471.html yes i did. (sorry for the delay) and i've been doing so terrible these past few months, that i've had my two 'new' kittens for over 5 months and STILL haven't named them! haven't even looked at names i can't really explain the biggest reasoning behind that, um ........ can't verbalize it yet [that and i got another concussion brain injury 1 day after getting them - no joke] |

Oh, my goodness, jrae. I'm so wishing & praying for something good to enter your life that will help you heal faster. I can't imagine how I would be able to find strength in a situation like yours. I have never been in a major auto accident like yours resulting in multiple brain injuries that are too slow in healing, & now a new one, & having grief on top of that, losing the only person who cared about you, & then your beloved cat. It's way too much for anyone. But you are somehow hanging on! I will continue hoping & wishing & praying for you.
