I notice several aspects about spring that isn't so great, especially if you're grown. It seems like it's the season when you have more responsibility. You now have to keep the grass mowed, the mower maintained, get rid of stuff or give it away, and the threat of severe weather hanging over your head. It seems it's the season when something goes wrong with your machine or car and you have to get it fixed. It's also the season when you're more likely to get forced into helping someone get a job done too. I don't like it when it rains all at once and then maybe you have a few days of sunshine or time to mow the grass before the weather acts up again. Often, it ends up being chilly, almost too windy to do much of anything, rainy, and stormy. I love the flowers though.

Spring tends to get me down. I used to love it, but not so much anymore. Over the last few years or so, it would be a season for me of having some health issues and doctor visits. I had major surgery six years ago in April and it was a dark period for me. I live in an area where winter is pretty nice; at least it is for me, so I miss the winter season (from November to early March).
I don't like the upcoming days of being warmer and the longer daylights. I hate having the windows opened and hear all kinds of noises. And then there's summer coming up when it gets very hot and it's never ending. |

i am of the opposite opinion personally. i tend to like spring and summer as it is more sunny and i feel a bit sadder i think when it's dark too soon during the day. i generally feel better during this period i think although that is mostly weather-related. i don't take care of my home myself although i perhaps definitely should as i still live with my parents. Plus i feel nostalgi about the summer as this is when i had the most free times when i was a child due to school being over. i Hope you'll be able to get through the spring Ok. Try to rest as much as possible and perhaps to make a schedule. Sending many safe, warm hugs to ALL of you, @modestlychee6463, your Families, your Friends and ALL of your Loved Ones! Keep fighting and keep rocking NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, OK?!

I liked spring a lot better when I was younger, but I dread it now because I never know how warm or hot it’s going to get.

My least favorite season -- a lost hour (spring forward), allergies, not chilly and gloomy enough, not balmy and pleasant enough, nights not short enough, days not long enough, etc. The reawakening nature and blooming greenery is supposed to inspire, but somehow feels only meh.

spring and summer are the worst for me
it seems strange to a lot of people, but when you're agrophobic and alergic to bees, it makes sense.. |

I don’t think my depression is linked to seasons. I only feel drained in summer when the heat is soaring and oppressive. That’s probably not depression, just reality.

No. I find spring to be a pretty positive change from winter. Winters are generally very dark and cold where I live. Sometimes we get some pretty bad winter storms. I find winter to be the most depressing season because there are so few days where it is nice enough to go outside in that season. I like spring, summer, and fall just fine.
