This "mini-flu" or whatever I shall call it, has drained the energy out of me. Items are floating all over the home because I felt too tired to put them on their right places when I was sick. Just a few days and the home looks like a big, big unordered person lives here. The level of hemoglobin (iron) in my blood is too low. May be that contributes to the tiredness ... I have an appointment with my GP next week, so we'll see.
I had to start one place: I have been reading in the "anti-procrastination" book. I have made a general to-do list for the whole week which includes everything from exercising to doing work in the home, or doing paid work. It has a start- and begin time for every activity. (It took some time to make it so specific). My plan is to make a special deviation plan for the times there will be extra happenings like going to the doctor, visit a restaurant with a friend and so on. I hope that these deviation plans will help me to get back on track every time I have to do things that are otherwise then my general plan says. (My head is usually full of thoughts after being out watching a movie (as an example). It's my hope to help myself to shift focus from one activity outside of the ordinary plan back to the ordinary plan again). I hope that the general plan will function as a frame around my daily doings, so that I can relax and know everything I have to do will be done. I have made a form to mark if I have done the items I usually struggle with. That will give me inputs about how I am doing and can be used for better planning if needed. I also made a dinner list for the whole week with free to choose for the weekends. For now I am going to read in "The Decider". After that I will do self-hypnoses, then make dinner, watch the news and then relax with Netflix until bedtime. Tomorrow I will empty the dishwasher and fill it again, put it on. Later on in the day I will use the washing machine. I will de-clutter where it is needed and continue with that if I must do so to have everything ready for my new start with the General to-do list on Monday. I wish everybody a good and relaxed weekend! |

I overslept this morning, and, in my tiredness, I used too much time in front of my PC. Did not get much done in the house. I was able to go to the grocery store and got what I needed there. So I have what I need for some days.
I will have to do the preparation for "the new beginning" tomorrow. I made a general plan earlier (some time ago), but that was not good enough, so I am very excited to use this new one. I will have my third shot on Monday and I have appointments with both a physiotherapist and my GP at Tuesday, so I will probably have to start with alternative plans, but that is a real start as well. I have promised myself to be clever to use alternative plans when I cannot follow my general plan. A continued good weekend to all and an especially good weekend to Jennifer who probably are relaxing at her "away form home weekend"! |

I forgot to hit 'post' yesterday. I wound up going on a long hike yesterday. I fell asleep incredibly early and still feel sore! I've had a good few days here, lots of things moving forward.
1. Clean house 2. Renovation project 3. Revisions |

I feel tired and not well. The appointment for the third shot is in the afternoon. I think I will make my plan for tomorrow after breakfast and make the plan for Tuesday and Wednesday as well. I don't think it is wise to start on my new plan when I have so many appointments. I will be better on later in the week.
I wish everybody well with their doings! |

I have 7 appointments to attend to next week for my family and I’m hosting Thanksgiving over here so I must prepare in between appointments. I have much to do and I’ll be out of town Sunday visiting my aunts. My plans are to attend the 7 appointments and start preparing for Thanksgiving. I also have a Zoom meeting tomorrow.
I hope everyone has a peaceful Monday. |

Gogo2, I hope you are feeling better today - and Jennifer, I hope you had a wonderful weekend with your daughter!
I cleaned the house yesterday and did not work on any 'thinking' projects. The place is still messy so I am wondering what took so long! Today I have a lot on my mind and lack a clear sense of focus. 1. Outdoor project 2. Client work 3. Revisions (on three different things!) 4. Renovation project 5. Errands (maybe) 6. Walk |

I'm glad you are on the mend and hope you don't get side effects from the third shot.
I ticked off all my boxes yesterday. I am trying to stop work on these ongoing projects at a high point rather than when I am exhausted, with the hope this will make it easier to restart the task the next day. We will see. Today I have two meetings but no other commitments. I will be doing more of the same. 1. Client work. 2. Revisions. 3. Walk 4. Meetings 5. Cooking project 6. Renovation project |

Otherwise I have had a good day. I had two appointments. Afterward I had dinner at a restaurant. I have two appointments tomorrow as well. One in my church and one with the doctors office (are going to take some blood tests). It is a terrible weather outside. Rain and wind. The weather forecast points to likewise weather for tomorrow. I will go into the grocery shop on my way home to buy dinner. If I am full of pain (in my view it is the weather that is the cause of the pain) I will make no further plans for tomorrow. I will just tuck myself into a blanket and watch Net-flix and drink something hot. I wish everybody good luck with their doings for tomorrow! |

I’m taking my brother for emergency surgery tomorrow. It’s a miracle because they are booked 4 weeks out. I’m very happy because he is in great pain. This will help tremendously. I’m also meeting my daughter for coffee. She is in town because her dad, my ex husband, had a heart attack. I am comforting and supporting my daughter through this. Never a dull moment. Finally, I have a massage that was scheduled before all of this came about. I think these things will fill my day. I’m in good spirits and I had a great trip with my daughter. Alas back to work.
I hope everyone has a peaceful day tomorrow. |

Wow, Jennifer - you are so busy! I hope your brother's surgery goes smoothly, that your ex is okay, and that you enjoy your massage!
I had an off day yesterday and decided to just roll with it. I am getting better at switching tasks to match my energy level/mood. I walked, worked, did a tiny bit of revising, and went to my meetings. 1. Cooking project 2. An extended hike. 3. Revisions. |

I had only two appointments yesterday, but with great geographical distance. It took the whole day. I rested after dinner.
Today I will take it easy. I will alternate between using Netflix (as a "distractor") and doing work in the home in a tact that hopefully fits my energy level. I wish everybody a good day with their small or/and big doings! |

I've skipped working on some projects that are important to me and I am not sure I will get back to them today. I have three meetings, two errands to run, and plans with a friend. Everything is scattered throughout the day.
1. Update calendar. I just noticed some meetings are missing and need to go back and figure out when they are. 2. Finish cooking project. Include clean up as part of that! 3. Make sure my lists are updated and use them. |

Today is calm.
1. Take mom for hair appointment 2. Visit brother in hospital 3. Bring trash cans in 4. Straighten house for maid to come tomorrow 5. Run small errands If I have time I will try to slide in a pedicure. I hope everybody has a peaceful day. |

I will continue somewhat with the same program for tomorrow, but hopefully more work than Netflix (I cannot do much work in the home before my back starts to be in pain). - De-clutter. - Fill dishwasher and put it to work. - Write a grocery list. - Visit grocery shop. - Gather trash. - Bring trash out of the home. - If time, put the "self going" vacuum machine to work in the living room. I wish everybody a good day with their small or/and big doings! |
