We had to close and restart the first accountability partners thread for technical reasons. On 10-08-20, Deilla wrote:

Clean the litter box.
Clean up in the bathroom.
Put clean sheets on the bed.

How about you? What are your goals for the day or what have you accomplished?

I didn't get a lot done yesterday except for what was scheduled. I have three things scheduled today but luckily there is a big block of time in the middle to work on things.
1. Trip planning
2. Yard work before it's too hot
3. Portfolio work

Do you usually use a schedule with a lot of room for other things? If so, that is wise!

I usually use an app with the things I need to do over time and mark them done when they are done. I have scheduled something every week that I have to do, like meeting friends, do physical exercises and so on. All the other things (outside of the necessary things I have to do to take care of my general health) are done with regard to my energy (I have several physical diseases). For me this way of arranging it works fine. It gives me a good balance between necessary rest, work, good times and what have to be done in the home.

For the time being I am here instead of at the app. At my place the vaccines where delayed, so there was a lot of time waiting to participate in the society again. I feel like it is a bit difficult to find back to the old routines (before Corona), but I am sure that after a few weeks here I will probably find back to my normal routines again.

Peace to you and the others here!

I accomplished two things of my listed items. I decided to postpone the movie until today. Today:

1. Attend bible study
2. Attend movie
3. Therapy
4. Pick up medication

Warmest regards for a peaceful day.

- Shower after breakfast
- Empty dishwasher
- Vacuuming with breaks until I feel it is enough for my back
- Visit grocery-shop
- Make healthy dinner
I woke up with a high level of blood-glucose in my blood this morning. That made me very tired, so I sat down for breakfast and dropped the shower afterward. It took some time before I was able to do something. All the other things on my to do list have been done. I had a vegetarian dinner today.

My plans for tomorrow:

- Up at eight o'clock and jump into the shower.
- Visit the Gym for group gymnastics for oldies.
- Write a "dinner list" for the whole week.
- Write a shopping list.
- Buy most of the grocery items I need for a week (it is cheaper then, and spare med from buying on impulse).
- Put the groceries on their right places when home again.
- Make dinner.

Peace to all!

I organized my dining room and ordered groceries today. I was very tired all day. Tomorrow, I have a doctor's appointment. That will be my main focus. Hope all of you are well!

@GoGo2 I like to have big blocks of unscheduled time and don't mind if that comes from clustering scheduled things or doing one thing in the morning and another later in the day. I also like using apps. I go a little overboard. I have one app where I list everything I have to do, then most mornings I start off with a sort of journal template about the day ahead, and then I block out activities to certain time periods in Excel. And I post a few here, lol. I don't do all those things every day.

I did no yard work. Too hot! The heat wave has finally broken. I also attended an invigorating discussion that has me all fired up to work on my portfolio.

1.Plan for portfolio completion
2. Something outside
3. Portfolio work

Seems like you have a good system, hvert! I only set up a specific time when I need to be somewhere at a specific time. I try to have order in the most necessary as well, like mealtimes and exercise times and work hours (I work a few hours a week). I always rest after the evening news, either with a book or Netflix. In the summer, outside of vaccation, I sometimes like to rest in the sun at the balcony without doing anything, just enjoy that I am alive. Sometimes I have guests and other times I am a guest. I always try to calm down before bedtime after whatever I have done that evening.

I can understand that you did not do yard work yesterday. It was hot here too. I had problems with sleeping this night because of heat. Today I have welcomed the rain and some wind!

Peace to you and the others here!

We had to reschedule the doctor for brother so space opened up in my day. What to do? What to do? Today:

1. Research avenues for obtaining part time caregiver help
2. Research avenues for obtaining help with the house
3. Handle business for mother and brother
4. Attend a movie

I hope everyone has a peaceful, productive day.

Everyone sounds so together. You all should be proud. So if we post a list, do we come back the next day to our post and say if it was completed? I don't want to screw up the flow. I am struggling with even logging on...so that in itself is worth something.

You can choose! I Iike to come back and tell what I did and what I did not. That's how I interpret "accountability"; that one has promised to stay accountable. The Merriam-Webster agrees with me.
Accountability | Definition of Accountability by Merriam-Webster

Others may have an other opinion about that. Find a way that works well for you.

I had a really bad night. It was hot and I had trouble with my sleep. As if that was not enough my blood glucose was very high in the morning.

I was too tired to shower, washed instead. The gym session was very good. High tempo and a lot of sweat drops from all of us. Had to rest for an hour when home again. I only bought the groceries I needed and went into a restaurant to buy take away. (No bad conscience). This is after all the way I like to live, try to keep focus on what is necessary, and don't hold "grudge" against myself if I have to do things different than I originally planned.

Plans for tomorrow:

No specific plans for tomorrow. I will be occupied with religious "things" and I will take a shopping round as well. After being inside for almost 1 1/2 year because of Corona, I need some new clothes.

Peace to all!

I made it to my doctor's appointment. I got a good report. So I am in a good mood today. I walked to the gazebo and sat out there for a while. Today, I will:

1. Fix grits and eggs.
2. Work on music.
3. Play a game.

I hope all of you are well! It's almost the weekend! Yay!!

One and a half days left of having the house to myself. Just two things I really want to accomplish today:

1. Mulch and weed

2. Portfolio work

I think that I am able to go back to use the app only, now. It was useful to come here for these days. I have ordered dinner delivery for whole week to come. My home is in order and the "self going" vacuum machine will be installed next week. Look forward to that and to my vacation that has become possible due to the vaccine.

Good to see that this thread has got more users now. May you all benefit from that!

Bye bye for now and peace to all!

Welcome aboard cinnamonstick! Glad to have you here! You won’t screw up the flow. If you post a list, you can come back and say whether you completed it or no. It’s half and half on this board. Whatever makes you comfortable. We’re here to support each other. You’re doing great!

After a week of hard work, I have some fun things planned for this Saturday:

1. Meet my daughter halfway to visit
2. Attend a sound and light healing ceremony
3. Attend an Aging class with a Harvard trained scientist. Dendritic spines, oh my!
4. Float in the pool

I hope everyone has a peaceful weekend.

I have a good start on the day. I spent several hours doing heavy duty yard work and may take the rest of the day off.

I've been working on music and doing housework. I'm not in a very good mood. I'm actually very depressed. Today I will just do things to get by. Hope everyone is well.
