Ignoring someone who is judged as ''too quiet'' by Malignant Narcissists (in that foo (family of origin
 ) I came from they are Malignant Narcissists) . Talking over that ''too quiet'' person and blaming their scapegoat for not visiting often enough. WHO ENJOYS being IGNORED at a get together. NOBODY.

Being "too quiet" often causes judgement. To some overly social people, quiet people don't fit their idea of how a person should act and therefore, get ignored or shamed.
This happens in the workplace too. I used to think there was something wrong with me because I like to think before I talk, get talked over because I pause, and get tired from too much social interaction. There is nothing wrong with people that are wired this way. |
