Depression has been kicking my butt lately. I tried to see if I could get an earlier appointment with my Pdoc but to no avail. He only works three days a week and he is booked. Oh well. I see him next month. I hope for a better day today. Yesterday sucked and was really draining. I am determined to cope better.

I didn't sleep well last night. No one was to blame, it was just me who kept myself up. I was busy this morning and it all went alright. Last Tuesday I went to the medical lab to have my blood drawn and urine sample. I haven't received my results yet. It seems like it's been a long wait for it. I contacted the doctor about it and got a message back saying my results will be posted after he reviews it himself. I feel alright physically but I hope there's nothing wrong.

I was busy this morning. I finally got my results from the Lab (blood & urine samples taken last Tuesday) and it's looking pretty good. Not perfect but OK.

I felt fairly good in the morning but my good feeling sunk in the afternoon. It started to rain around 2 and it hasn't stopped since then. I wanted to go out in the afternoon but couldn't. Also during the afternoon, I was feeling bad about myself.

I had an okay week. I woke up late on Wednesday and couldn't sit with my birds before leaving for work because I didn't have time. That's an important part of my routine, so it made me feel bad to have to skip it. Otherwise, my week was uneventful. I got back my vacation request approved for the first week of April, so I can use that week to work on my novel all day long instead of just in the little time I have after work during the week most weeks.

I have been working on my young adult novel. To get myself into the mood (of a moody teenager) I've been listening to certain songs that were released when I was a teenager, and which are appropriately moody. I think it's working, heh. In any case it's helping me write a little better, though I'm still on the first draft of my current project. I hope to have the first draft finished in 3 months or so. If I can use my upcoming vacation to get a lot of work done, that may be as little as 2 months. I'll have to just keep at it and see what happens.

I had a pretty good day today. I got to spend a lot of time talking with my brother who lives out of state. I've been off this past week from school but I start back on Monday. I've been really tired because I spent most of my time off running a lot of errands and doing doctor's visits in preparation for a trip I have to take in a couple of weeks. I crammed everything into this week because it was my only time off for the semester. I got some bloodwork done too and thankfully all was well. I'm not ready to go back to class but I am hoping I get some decent sleep tonight and tomorrow so that I can be somewhat prepared for Monday.

I'm feeling pretty good. Been catching up on housekeeping chores. I-m glad the weather is changing. I'm glad it isn't dark so early.

Unfortunately, I had to delete my draft so far. I had to do this because the story became unworkable, and because it's too similar to another book I've read. I'll try and come up with notes and restart it next weekend. I only made it about 9,000 words into the draft, so it's not like I'm turning back on months of work.

I've had a hard time recently, but I haven't given up. I had a tantrum this morning but got over it. Full of wishes, & trying to override sadness.
