Not a good day today. I went out to go shopping and, just when I was near the store, my car broke down. I called for service and it had to be towed. As of now it looks like the car will be tied up for at least three days. It maybe tied up for two weeks. My car is 15 years old.

Another thing that went wrong (it doesn't affect me directly though) was that my friend had a colonoscopy this morning and it ended up not done because he was "too full". Just after the colonoscopy, he called me but it was a bad time for me to talk because I was waiting for the service for my car. When I got home, I've called him a few times but no answer.

And now it's raining and cold, so no bike riding. And now I'm mauling over what I should do now that my car is gone. I can't believe all of this. It feels like I'm living in a bad dream.

It's another rainy day here. It has rained non-stop since mid-afternoon yesterday.
I woke up this morning around 3 AM and just told myself, "you don't have your car now!". No word on what's going on with my car so far but I was told it will be a while when it will be repaired. So now, I'm mauling over what option should I do while waiting - order groceries online, rent a car, or go shopping by using either Uber or Lyft. It all seems overwhelming and an adjustment that I'm not used to. It's going to cost about $10 - $30 more to eat than usual. It (or ick) sucks!

My cell phone has been giving me problems, but I'm able to use it at the moment so I can be here, thank goodness.

I'm extremely depressed tonight. I'm on the verge of tears for the first time in, well I can't remember. There's no particular reason for it, save my difficulties getting this current novel off the ground. I've had to call in sick for the second time in two weeks; the earlier of the two times was the first since August of last year. I hope to feel better tomorrow so I can go into work on Thursday to try and salvage this week.

Today I ordered groceries online for the first time. It went OK but I felt like I flubbed it up a little and there were items I wanted and the store didn't have it. I was trying to get used to working with it. I may or may not have to order online again; it depends on what's going on with the service of my car.

I miss my car a whole lot. I feel like my life is a lot different. There's a nice store I shop at but they don't do deliveries. Also it seems like the quality of food I got isn't as good as where I go shopping. But, I'll live with it for a while.

I'm feeling depressed because of the new routine for now and I didn't get much sleep last night. I was wound up about the car and how the online grocery shopping would go.

I guess so, but I didn't think it was that great. There are extra charges for delivery and they don't have everything on stock as much as going to the store itself. The particular store I shop at doesn't do deliveries and that's too bad because the quality of the food is much better than where I'm getting my groceries online. Well, as soon as I get my car back, I'm going back to my old ways. I wouldn't trade in the experience I had today for what I have been doing all along. I really miss it.

I'm feeling very depressed. Every time I try and start this novel, I realize what I write is too similar to a book I've read, one of my favorite novels of all time. So I get a few thousand words in, only to delete everything I've written and declare to start over again. It's extremely frustrating, to be so unable to get this thing off the ground.

I'm still enjoying being on an upswing. I've started spring cleaning, and my apartment is coming along nicely. I bought some baby tulips to replant in a pot for my front patio. I want to have a patio garden. I love that the days are much longer now. My car is running good. I heard from a cousin yesterday. Everything is going quite well.

Feeling depressed. Nothing much going on today. My car is going to be tied up for a while, so I'm going to be without a car for a bit. I guess I can live with it since I don't use the car that much anyways but I miss it. Here it is at mid to late March and we're still getting lots of rain and being cold. That's unusual for the area where I am. Also the friend, whom I let go, is sending me messages.

I've been doing so much better. My apartment finally looks neat and clean. I'm actually enjoying getting my household chores done. No anxiety. Not depressed. This is hugely better than how I was back in Feb.

I've been all over the place today, as I am most days lately. I'm filled with anxiety, self-doubt, irritability, and overwhelming sadness. I hide it for a few hours at a time, and I joke around and act like nothing is wrong at work, but the mornings and evenings are hard. Sometimes I'm even genuinely not sad for a half hour or so. But today was tough. It was a worse day than yesterday.

When I woke up I didn't feel like getting out of bed. It's very stormy outside, lots of rain and wind. That's unusual for where I live at this time of year. I know we need the rain but this is getting ridiculous. It's been cold for the last four months and a lot more rain than usual.

It's going to be a while when I get my car back. I wished that car didn't break down. It's been like living in a bad dream and it looks like there's no end in sight.
Besides having depression I have anxiety, worrying about how the car is going to work out.
