I feel for you, I know this kind of pain.😔🙏

If there's a part of you that wants to live, and to see better days, then stay alive for one more day. Love your dog, give him/her great compassion. Hold on to the hope. Sending ((hugs)) to you guys.

I'm so sorry you are in such a dark place, lucky. Please reach out for the help you need in whatever way you can. (I know something of how you're feeling having made 2 attempts on my own life in the past.) One thing I think I can say is it's sometimes not as easy to die as one might think. And so I think it may be correct your dog may die and you may not. But neither of you needs to die. There are always other options. You may not be able to see them right now. There they're there. Please seek help. My best wishes to you... and your doggie as well...

Please call 988 and talk or chat with someone, there’s very little we can do here to help.

Please go to your local ER if you feel like you're a danger to yourself. It's not a fun place to be but it will keep you safe and can get you connected to resources if you're not already. If you have a therapist, definitely contact them. Knowing your situation, they can help deescalate and determine the best course of action. If you just need someone to talk to, you can call or text 988. Unfortunately, as another commenter said, we can't do much for you here. We are strangers who don't know your story and can't provide much help personally. If you're in a crisis, you need professional intervention.

I will say, I want you to be here. I know it sounds so silly that a stranger on the internet can care about you, but I truly care about every soul on this planet. Every person who takes their life is a beautiful soul forever gone. You matter, no one else has walked in your shoes and can ever replace you. Even if you feel dark right now, there's endless of opportunities left in this world for you. Plus, I'm sure your dog wants to live and wants you to remain a part of their life. They are an innocent soul who's life is not yours to take, and their love for you is so unconditional.
