I have come to the conclusion that depression never goes away. it may hide for a little while but it never goes away completely. i have been on meds since i was 18 (now 23) and in therapy since i was 16 and i'm still as miserable as i was when i was a kid. It may go away for some people but for me its sticking here. .

sorry i guess i just needed to rant.

dont you believe it Forever.... change happens... hang in there....

breathe, feel a moment of peace in your mind... as time goes on, those moments get longer.... 23 is a rough age... get a lot oh help... try, care..... you'll be ok....

there's a lot to be sad about imo... cant ignore it.... it doesnt go away itself..... take your time, be kind to yourself and others as much as possible... what goes around comes around.... building supportive relationships is an investment in yourself and the community...

take care Forever....

Hello (((STACY))). I am sorry that you are struggling at this time. Have you talked to your Dr tDr know that you are not thriving like you would like in life? It could be that you need your meds adjusted, and if you talk to your therapist or DR they should be happy to help you with a med adjustment, if that is what is required to help you feel better. Take care and good day. Soidhonia

I understand what your saying and feel the same way sometimes. I too have dealt with depression as well as other things for 15 years and it is so bad right now. But somehow I still find hope at the end of most days, or weeks maybe...lol. Something will change for the better, just try and keep your head up. Depression never goes away

I sometimes feel like that. But I have seen my sister get better after about 8 years of terrible depression. I have been feeling a bit better this days too so I have some hope.

We just never know...

I feel the same way. I've been depressed since 15 or 16. I was put on Effexor XR when I was 16, but I wasn't responsible enough to take it. I'm 24 now. I was diagnosed with post-partum depression at 21, which never went away... so, it probably wasn't post-partum depression, it was probably depression that was more noticeable after I gave birth. Anyways, I'm 24 now and still depressed. When will it end?

All in all... I FEEL THE SAME WAY!

I know what you feel like. But you have to admit that sometimes good days do come around keep going looking forward to those days. Have you been really trying to let go of the depression. Is it possible you've hid behind your depression for so long. I know you don't want to be depressed but it is possible
