Hello Inkblot --
It's so interesting that I can see in others' posts things that I am completely blind to in myself -- sometimes even after others have pointed out distortions in my thought. What I noticed is the sweeping magnitude of your statement. "a bad life." Probably not even Hitler can be said to have had a completely bad life, since surely he brought a smile to mommy's face at some point. I know what you mean though -- while in the trough of depression, especially one that has endured as long as mine -- it can seem as if there has never been a happy day, a meaningful act, an achievement, that has made one's life worthwhile. But it is the disease talking. A demon. A virus of the mind. Tell this ugly thing to go away and not bother you. Or me. Anymore. Maybe someday it'll work, huh? I hope you find something to take a second of pleasure in today. ((((((( Inkblot)))))))
