Hi there, since I was 9yrs old I've suffered from chronic depression until I turned 16. Now my life seems to be going great, I have a decent amount of friends, I have boyfriend ect..but strangely I don't feel satisfied-and I don't know why I mean, I have everything I wanted in the past why aren't I happy? I don't understand!

Some of us ask that a lot of ourselves... Sometimes we just aren't happy with where we are at (for whatever reason, known or unknown) and this causes us to be depressed.

I'm not a medical doctor, but it could also be a chemical imbalance as well... have you talked to your doctor?

In the past I have, and they said that possibly could be the source...I'll try asking a doctor again and see what's wrong and make sure you know? just in case ^-^
