Kids are in bed, the tears are here now. It's not just depression, it's anxiety, it's "God I'm stupid", it's "why can't it be me" (that's in his arms tonight), it's "because you screwed it upn 17 years ago, that's why and now you except him to leave his life for you and you are seriously upset because he doesn't know what to do??", it's I just want to scream, it's "It's after midnight, you really think he's going to write?", it's "it's after midnight and you have to get up AND function the next day", it's THE TEARS WON'T STOP and they are my fault. How do you make them stop? I know, exercise helps, doing other things to take my mind off it helps, I know, but I don't know--make any sense? I know what I would tell a friend, so why can't I do it?? :Bawling:

sometimes you have to let the tears flow to beable to move on
sometimes its a part of healing and a way to relise your anixety
I am sorry you are having a hard time
Hope it gets alittle better

Thank you so much. I actually slept last night, about 2:00, had to be up at 6, but I feel slightly better but it's sitting right there on the edge. I can function today--unless I let the thoughts start again, or check my email one too many times. Thank you for taking the time to respon.

It's ok to cry.
Muffy can tell you I have plenty of kleenex if you need some.
The sadness of regret can run deep and tears are sometimes the only release.
Finding things to occupy your time and give you less time to think of how things might have been can help.
But often once everyone is settled for the night, it's "pass the kleenex please".

Give yourself permission to feel regret, to shed your tears of sorrow.
But also remember to take care of yourself.
You are important too.
