I am so terribly depressed tonight... I want to share, but I can't handle anything negative for a while.. anything more... so I have to wait to post... maybe my T will help me tomorrow to get through this.

Sending positive vibes your way!
Did you ever see the movie "The Labyrinth" with David Bowie?
Do you know that song where the goblins are dancing around in the castle at the middle of the goblin city?
"I saw my baby... cryin' hard as babe could cry... what could I do... My baby's love had gone, and left my baby blue! Nobody knew... what kind of mgic spell to use...
Slime and snails...
puppy dog tails...
thunder or lighting...
Then baby said... Dance, dance magic dance..."
Well, I'm singing that for you right now.
If you haven't seen that, then I'm singing Blue Skies next. So you can laugh at me, if you want.
*huggles*
I hope you feel better soon!

Hi Sky,

Sometimes when reality bites it helps to do something practical, some small thing that takes up some of your time.

I used to catalogue my book collection, tidy up something, or label my cds. I know it sounds a bit pathetic but it has worked for me in the past. Just doing something that's not about the feelings.

I hope it eases for you. Myzen, too sad.

thanks all of you...

my T is ill today so no session. go figure, he never gets sick! Must be the cold weather (50s) and no flu shots? But I was also dragging and needed PT but cancelled that too: the drive too long.

I have another appt for tomorrow.. maybe I'll be better after working through this then?

Sky,
Here are some fun websites to maybe take your mind off of things:
www.shockwave.com
www.zombo.com

Games help me sometimes when I feel really down.

Hey Sky, my doggies are sitting on my bed trying to sit on the keyboard and giving up and sitting on my feet. I have seen the fatest squirrells ever because people LOVE to feed them. My bunnies were upset cause hubby removed the generic cheerios but soon brought them back. I saw lights on the way home tonight and I thought of Christmas time as a time for hope and belief in the good. We are all human inside. Puppies are now lying keeping me warm and though I told hubby I wanted a new puppy he says that it will change the current dynamics with these two wonderful children. See, I am trying to distract you, is it working?

((((hugs))) to you all! It appears I am reeling from one thing to another... my 92 year old friend had heart surgery today and no one I try to call is available because of the services for another person/acquaintance who died Sunday.... I couldn't go, my T gave me an extra appointment (on his own) so I thought best to follow his lead.... there's an annual meeting tonight.. I'm afraid to go for fear more bad news will be announced. I don;t know how I will handle any more sad.

I am so sorry that you are feeling so blue, Sky. It can be challenging to be distracted by fun things, as Myzen and WiseWoman suggest, when the world looks black. I hope that things will seem better soon.
