I'll never be equal 2 a straight person. I'll never have the same rights as a herterosexual will I? I would have hoped that as a nation we would have evolved where bigotry and prejudice does not exist. But I am wrong. I've always been less than. I hope this whole prop 8 thing in Ca doesn't throw me down the drain. Sometimes one thing can set off one of my depressions. I wished I lived in Sweden. Where will I ever belong? Thanks for being there even when it all looks dark to me.

Something to cheer you up a little, I hope:

"In California exit polls reported thus far tonight, Proposition 8 appears to be going down to a narrow 52 percent to 48 percent defeat."
Source: CNN.com

Obama being elected President promises at least a fight for change in rights, so don't give up hope!

*Hugs* and keep fighting for your rights, because you deserve them!

One, you shouldn't have to compare yourself to people of other sexual orientations. (I sometimes do the same thing because I'm bi, so I have moments when I feel like I'm beneath gays and heteros, at least as far as friendships and valid opinions go...)

You are still a human being, with worth and value. It may take some time, but eventually you'll be able to file taxes jointly

No matter where you are gay, straight and what ever, never compare yourself to anyone, I do that and feel like I don't belong anywhere, but we just have to worry about ourselves first and to heck with the rest. Unfortunately people will always judge us not matter what, all we have to worry about is being judged in the end, when the lord calls us home.

Just believe that you are a wonderful person, lots to give and loving, the world doesn't know what they are missing by judging you wrongly.

Hugs
Cindy

I'll never be equal 2
