human services just called and finally gave me an appointment for therapy. now under everyday situations i feel much more comfortable talking to women because im kind of a sensitive guy, but in the past with therapy i have much better results talking to a male therapist. i told them that and requested a male therapist. my appointment is with a woman. did they even listen to me? ill give her a shot because i really need to get into therapy. i was seein someone a month ago but i did not like her approach. im very frustrated. i feel like im trying to make the right steps and keep falling down. the meds, the therapy, everything has been a failure at this point. im annoyed

I dunno what happened in your case, but it's possible that she has the only opening. In my area, therapist that have "openings" are hard to find. So you never know.

what is human services? who/what do you ask for? is it a county thing? (assuming you are in the U.S.) i

'm losing what's left of my mind... and i desperately need my meds - but can't afford them. since my water was cut off...i was going to take advantage of the fact that it was raining and wash outside...but i couldn't find the key to open the side door - the only private area i could've done that (i'm crazy but not crazy enough to get naked and take a bath in the front yard)...well by the time i found the key it was only drizzling (it'd taken 20 minutes standing in freezing drizzle to get soap outta my hair) so i got mad and went to bed...now it's not raining at all!

LOL...just hoping my little story would make you laugh... or at the very least amuse you!

human services or family services is a town organization that offers therapy. you pay by income,wich sucks for me because i have excellent insurance and they dont accept insurance, but im gonna give it a try anyway
