I am sorry that you are having difficulties with your parents, do you have to go home? Is there anywhere else you can stay? Please take good care of yourself.

As the mother of a 15 yr old daughter who recently attempted suicide- I saw all sorts of parents visitng their chidren in the hospital. Many parents seemed to be provoking the situation- I realize that though my daughter may have made some poor decisions, she is wothy of life and love and that is what I choose to do-- love her. I will send all the love I can to you too. I do not know you, nor your parent(s), so I won't attempt to speak about what I do not know. I do know that you are amongst the living; are probably in much pain but I do want you to stay amongst the living. I wish you encouragement, perseverance and strength. You are worthy of life and the world is and will continue to be a better place because of you. No matter your shortcomings, we all have some (let's not compare, as if you were to see the ones I made from before age 18 until now age 37) you may not want to hear from me. smile
I hope to hear from you.

* hugs*

I'm in a similar situation... in that i don't want to go home but have to.

Our situations are different, but keep in mind a few things.
First that you do need some help, maybe suggesting an alternative such as therapy would help to convince them.
Also, acting in ways that they approve of even if you hate it, to convince them that you are capable of getting yourself to that therapy, and get better without them whacking you time and time again.
Even if that means taking blame for things you didn't do.

loads of hugs, good luck
