Im so confused. about everything.

Everything i try to fix i make worse.

So i dont. I dont think. I listen to music when i can, sing in my head when i cant. I concentrate on the music so i dont have to think.

This was working great...until school started. Because...a lot catches up with me at the end of the day. I cant sleep no matter how tired i am. Cause my head is racing.

So is it live in complete misery or have adequate sleep?

What do i do?

Can you go to a doctor? There are meds that can help you get a good nights sleep. Another thing that may help is to try some relaxation techniques like meditation before bed. I am sending you some hugs

ok, i'm not a doc, but it sounds lke you might benefit from seeing a therapist to identify what's causing this racing mind. i had those symptoms and got a diagnosis and was put on meds. it's worked for 18 years now. hope you have insurance or does the school you attend have a counselor? keep us posted...that head racing is exhausting.

Are you taking any meds for your depression ?

I know what you mean with your head racing, I listen to music all day to block my thinking so I can relax. There's nothing bad about it, but you're doing it for a reason.

I tried CBT ( cognitive based therapy ), don't give up looking for a conseleur and ask him if you could do this one, it helps a lot with depression.

do you have a support system of friends?
when depression exists it shrouds our ability to problem solve. the good news its that you posted to us.
i'm not sure of your situation or where you live. in the US there are crisis hot lines for people that need help. do you have that where you are?
there may not be a quick solution but talking about it will continue to help you. keep posting and let us know how we can possibly help you.
remaining where you "are" now...will only intensify the depression. i'm so sorry you are feeling this way. it takes so much mental energy and it sounds like you're so tired of feeling this way.

You go to the hospital or call a help line or go to a church and talk to the priest/preacher. You do anything you can to stay safe and keep holding on. You keep posting to us. When you sleep, do you listen to music, also? If not, stick some headphones on and drift off to your music. If you do, change the type of music from what you listen to in the day time.
Look at the things that making you feel dead. Write them down, specifics, not generally. Then look at what you would like to change about them and how you could change them--even if you think it's not possible. Share those with us if you'd like, maybe we could help. I wish you peace.

It makes perfect sense! Maybe try "nature music", like thunderstorms or ocean sounds or birds. Also Native American music I believe they call it, the flute-y sounds that are very tranquil. I hope you are able to write specifics, and if you decide to share them I bet you'll get good feedback on suggestions and advice!

You need a doctor, as soon as possible. Is there a family doctor?
May I ask how old are you?

Did you talk to that teacher yet? If not you should. I think it would help.

I'm so sorry you aren't feeling well. I hope that you are doing better today and that you have gotten some sleep. I miss you and I'm sorry I haven't been there for you the past couple days! Send me a message soon! Feel better.

P.S. Remember that one time you wrote all of Love Story out? The WHOLE song.

I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling this way. I also have a lot of trouble sleeping because my mind is racing so much. I saw a doctor and he put me on Lunesta which helps me a lot. I've never had any bad side effects from it or anything. It's very hard to take the first steps to get help for depression and I am so glad that you took a first step and came to a support group. Good luck with everything!!

Parents and people in general react differently to this notice. My mother understands me for example, but my father is totally denying it.
Basically, it's just a defense mechanism taking over (denial / rationalization).

Please take care!

There's help for you. There are so many meds out there that can help you. Please see a doctor and ask for a prescription to help you sleep. That will help you function throughout the day. The new class of meds are modern. They are not like the old ones that people used that would make them feel groggy, lightheaded and dazed.
