I'm lonely. I feel empty.
But I'm afraid to go hang out with people. I'm so afraid. Especially with how they react to what I've been going through.

I try to get to lessons, but practicing is sporadic, i'm afraid to go to my studio classes which I'm invited to because of how the people react and just bleh x.x

Hello:

It saddens us to know that you share in these feelings and difficulties. I do empathize and understand how that feels and know how difficult it can be to make those connections ... how the fear of what others might be thinking about how one responds ... or doesn't respond in those social settings. It's very difficult to learn how to deal with those situations and gain a certain level of comfort in them. The fear can be very overwhelming as can that sense of isolation and loneliness.

Wishing you peace, comfort and resolutions to all the challenges you're facing and trying so hard to contend with: Kefrin

It seems everyone is feeling a little alone and lost these days .Just take one step at a time and let other people worry about their hang ups just practice going slow at first . Every little step helps.I am finding Trust can play a big part in how we help ourselves just ask 1 friend to be lonely with you . It may sound Corney but just 1 friend can make a difference .
And remember you have lots of people online to help you when things look dark

I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling lonely
Opening up and talking with people about your feelings is SUCH a hard thing to do as you allow yourself to become completely vulnerable. Its difficult to find those people that you can truly trust... but keep looking because there are people out there who do care about you and who will not judge you or think any differently of you. Fortunately, lots of those people are here at PC. You are already "practicing" by posting on here, and we welcome you with open arms.
It will get easier... I promise
Jacq

I am sorry you are lonely. It is a painful feeling. And I don't want you to be in pain.

Wish I could say something more helpful and wise. But hugs are all I have. Hope they help a little.
