I have been on this sight since I found it and cannot believe how much infor there is to be had. As I stated I have just begun seeing a therapist so it is all very new to me. I am one of those doubting Thomas' whos always believed things happen to others and not to me. Up until now very active with home and job, I work in a pharmacy and a fast paced one at that. Here you see all things known to man and then some. I lost my husband in 12/032 and a year brfore that my mom. I though that work was my salvation and keeping busy was the way to go, but I guess I was wron. I got mono and was down for 5 months!! I still say that was the beginning of the end for me. Anyway anxiety or whatever has taken its toll and now I am reduced to a vegatable. Has anone ever come back at least to a functioning level?

Hi donsky...welcome

I have had a long list of reasonings, which I'll spare you, but I was in a sort of exhausted "state" for a very long time about a year. I couldn't believe how incapacitated I had become. I was completely fatigued. I couldn't food shop...I didn't even want to eat I was so tired. Then around june-july I somehow started to come around for no apparant reason. I all of a sudden slowly but surely was able to do things again. I'm not 100%, in fact, I don't remember what that is, but at least I am able to function again. I hope maybe that helps somewhat. Things are everchanging...good & bad. Hope you will feel well soon. Take care
