For the first time since I have been coming on this site, I had a good day.
I have been posting how bad I have been feeling a lot so I thought I would share with you that I finally feel a bit better. I have a bit of hope. I feel alive for the first time in a long, long time. I have been in a lot of pain for quite a while, physical pain and mental anguish have been my daily companions but today I feel like I might be getting over the withdrawal from the benzos, one day at a time, I am not out of the woods, but at least I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, just a tiny bit, but it is there.
I have found a lot of caring, sensitive people on this site and you have helped me a lot in the last month, I do not feel alone anymore...
One day at a time, I will make it and I hope that everyone of you feels better, if just a small spark

It is so good to hear the good news! You might find it helpful to write a diary/journal and then you can keep track as you get more and more good days!

That is GREAT news!!!!!!! I agree with pegasus, a journal really helps once you start feeling better because it reminds you on the not-so-good days that you're capable of feeling well. It does wonders for me, and it's nice to be introspective in a more positive way sometimes too. I hope that this signals the start of more and more good days to come!
