I am getting tired of seeing doctors because they don't seem to be all too knowledgable. They are like soap opera doctors with scrip writing ablities. They way they dress and act. And their weight! I think if my diabetes doctor lost 20 pounds, she would look like a concentration camp victim. I want a doctor to treat me for me individually not like just a number. I feel like telling them to look at me and not at the numbers. Repeatedly I had to have told my doctors the research I have found about medications they give me. Some medications cause complications in other areas too. It's not so smart to put a man who is diabetic on a bipolar medication that causes weight gain and his glucoses levels to go up. And even after you tell them your condtions, the medictions you are on, they don't always listen. Many times I had to take myself off medications and be my own doctor. I just took myself off of wellbutrin xl, and anti-depressant, because it was raising my blood pressure even with medication to lower it. And I am now in the process of seeing a new primary care because the last one used to rush me out of his office. What is going on? I have two insurances and very well covered; I see the premium doctors with the best credentials. Again, what is going on?
