Hope someone is out there! I went 2 the doctor today & I waited 2 long I have pneumonia again! And some people it might not be a big deal, well, I'm not some people! I can only use like 2 antibiotics cause of allergies.
2 years ago I had pseudonomous pneumonia which is 1 of the worst & hardest 2 fight. I was told it is 'the aids pneumonia'. I don't have aids but I do have a very poor immune system.
I have been at my 3 adult handicapped/terminally ill brothers helping out & getting them ready 4 a new choreworker, but I over did it, & now i am really sick.
Last time it almost killed me. And took a good year 2 get back 2 normal. So right now I am kinda freaking out & letting my head swirl with worry. Just had 2 get this off my chest! I pray I can get some rest, I know that is the real magic cure! Thanks 4 listening! Diane as pigsflyinair

Are you eating and drinking enough? You need to take care of yourself while you are ill. Hope you feel better soon.

i am concerned that you have a fever and hope you have told your MD about it. recurring pneumonia is nothing to fool around with. you may have to alter your lifestyle so that it is slower so that you are not overstressed and get enough rest. please keep in touch and let us know how you're doing.

It was a very difficult thing for me to learn: how to stop before I was ill, or before I did too much, even though I looked fine. It was nearly impossible around others, especially family!

I, too, have allergic issues, and can only take cephalosporins (and I have some issues with one of them...)

I used to get pneumonia every year there for a while.

Please do what you need to for healing.... regardless of everyone else! It's not being selfish, it's being smart. Feel better soon, perhaps you can heal more quickly this time.

Quick update I am going into the hospital in the morning! Got another chest xray & thing just are not healing as fast as my doctor would like. Actually I feel so lousy for a change I don't mind. I guess as you get older you realize there are things you have to do, & this is 1 of them. I have big issues with being hurt& poked. I always end up with a central line. So it's gonna be tough, but I plan 2 be nice! Wish me luck! Thanks everybody! pigsflyinair or pigs as Diane

Will be thinking of you and wishing you the best...I hope you get back on your feet soon, and that things will not be as bad as the drs think they are...rest well, and try not to worry about what will happen tomorrow or even the day after...let the day's worries be enough for you...

You might ask the doctors to test your vitamin D3 levels. There have been a few studies of late on how the sunshine vitamin helps fight off infections. I began taking D3 four years ago and haven't had a cold or infection since. I keep my testing levels between 60 to 70ng/ml year round.

Good luck in what ever treatment avenues are taken!
