Hey everyone,

Today I got a letter in the mail stating that I've been accepted for ODSP. I'm very happy about it! I was getting nervous about the possibility of being rejected...so now it's like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

I look forward to contributing to my family's financial situation, such as rent and groceries.
Thanks for this!

"Sigh of relief" I'm sure. Nothing more stressful than waiting for the government to decide something so important about our life. Glad you will be able to contribute to your family....that has to be a wonderful feeling. Should also be a great help with your medical costs. All a great relief to you

I know I am new but I am also living with a chronic illness (born with it) and I'm on disability as well. I know the stress of it so I just wanted to say CONGRATS!
