I have been having uncontrollable tremors and it has been causing to be slower at my daily tasks at school. I even had to have a girl in my class write for me. It's embarrassing and I looked it up and I think I might have parkinson's disease. I am really scared...what can I do?

Hi "Lost" ~ Are you sure this isn't Anxiety? Sometimes without even knowing that we're anxious, all of a sudden our hands will start shaking and our heart will start beating much faster than usual. This has happened to me MANY times, and i didn't know what caused it. I talked to my doctor, and after describing what happened, he said it was Anxiety/Panic attacks. He gave me medication to stop these attacks, and it worked.
I think you need to talk with your doctor about these "attacks" and see what he thinks. It sounds like anxiety to me. It sounds exactly like what I used to have happen to me. I couldn't even write a check!! Be sure and talk to the doc. I'm sure you'll feel better. God bless and please let us know what he says. Hugs, Lee |
