I have been having uncontrollable tremors and it has been causing to be slower at my daily tasks at school. I even had to have a girl in my class write for me. It's embarrassing and I looked it up and I think I might have parkinson's disease. I am really scared...what can I do?

Hi "Lost" ~ Are you sure this isn't Anxiety? Sometimes without even knowing that we're anxious, all of a sudden our hands will start shaking and our heart will start beating much faster than usual. This has happened to me MANY times, and i didn't know what caused it. I talked to my doctor, and after describing what happened, he said it was Anxiety/Panic attacks. He gave me medication to stop these attacks, and it worked.

I think you need to talk with your doctor about these "attacks" and see what he thinks. It sounds like anxiety to me. It sounds exactly like what I used to have happen to me. I couldn't even write a check!! Be sure and talk to the doc. I'm sure you'll feel better. God bless and please let us know what he says. Hugs, Lee
Thanks for this!

Don't be scared of anything just yet, you don't know what it is, you are to be scared of! it is less common for young people to get parkinsons, and very rare for juviniles to get it. i'm not discounting it but just saying don't jump to that conclusion so hastily.
go see a doctor if you are concerned
