I'll be getting a new wheelchair next week & it always makes me kinda nervous. Even though I've been fitted for it & it meets all my needs it will take to to adjust. Of course I'll keep my old chair as a spare but I'll still be on a new set of wheels... Wish me luck !
Thanks for this!

Good luck! I think you will do fine. Like you say may take a bit of time to adjust. But you will be styling with a new chair!
Thanks for this!

Good luck! Remember that your new one will probably be more comfortable and fitting to your needs than your old one, otherwise you wouldn't need a new one.
Thanks for this!

Good luck with your new chair. I'm sure you'll love after a little adjustment time.

God, that anxiety of waiting and adjusting to a new set of wheels - I can definitely empathize! I'm hopefully getting a new wheelchair sometime late this summer, once all of the ridiculous paperwork and approval stuff has gone through.

What kind did you get? Electric, manual? Brand? (Just curious! I've got a Ti-Lite, which is titanium alloy and is super lightweight as a result.)

Hi Christina, I'm getting a Quickie LXI, it's a manual chair. I chose blue this time and should be able to pick it up sometime Wednesday.
