I was just put on cogentin as when I was antipsychotics over 27 years ago i got side effects. I have only been on cogentin for 5 days and I can't believe no doctor has prescribed this for CP. I now very little spasms in my legs and feet and walk about without having to stop and wait for a spasm to end before I could move on.
If anyone else is out there with CP doo you take this?
Thanks for this!

It is good to read that Cogentin has helped you .

My partner (she was the boss psychologist of a CP support agency for many years) commented that the physical health professionals there often prescribe Cogentin for people for whom spasticity (not ataxia or athetosis) is a major component of their CP, with generally good results.
