I have lupus and with that comes pain. I feel so much pain tonight and just wanted to get it out how I feel. When I have lupus pain, I get it in my legs a lot. Then it gets into my arms and my hips and hands. Then my shoulders and my head. Not always the head though, just sometimes. I feel stiff all over. My bones feel like someone is squeezing them. My hands sometimes get inflamed. They get red and puffy. They ache like someone is squeezing them. My joints throb. I get random sharp pains flicker throughout my body. Occasionally it feels like a shock of lightning (obviously not as intense as actual lightning), going through my body, from one side of my body to the other. Like someone just stabbed me through my back and through my stomach. Sometimes my chest hurts to breathe. It feels like my chest tightens and won't let me take a deep breath. When my head hurts, it throbs. Like in the back of my head, or behind my eye. ok well thats it, goodnight.

I think that is a good description. I used to tell people some of the pain was like if someone did voodoo on me with a doll and pins.
Ouch. |

I know this pain all too well and pray that yours eases up soon so that you can at least get a few hours of sleep. Know that I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
