So on the first of August I oded. I ended up passing out and my husband found me. While I was at hospital they did a brain MRI and findings were consistent with any MS. Other words lesions on my brain. All the symptoms I am having though are symptoms of Parkinson's. I have to go to the neurologist next week. I'm kind of scared. MS does run in my family. Doctor originally thought lupus but test came back ok. They are going to do a spinal tap. Has anyone ever done that and how do they do it. Anyone here with either disease?

I had a spinal tap done back in the 80's. It was painful. There a good chance improvements have been made in 25 years.

They thought I had MS back in the 80s too. They did not do a spinal tap on me but said I had MS. I ended waiting 15 years to find out I did not.

I am pretty sure that there have been improvements like everything else in the medical field. Good luck.
