My MONO test results from 10/29/21 came back abnormally high.

But why didn't my primary care address this with me in the message she sent me? She only addressed the other abnormalities - my low vitamin D levels and my abnormal thyroid that requires me to return for another blood draw in the next 6 weeks.

I also had other abnormalities that she never addressed. She said everything else looked fine, but the range that was noted on the VA's website even indicated that the test results were abnormal.

Also, I just looked down and noticed that I bruised very easily on my left arm - where the crease is on the opposite side of my elbow. I don't recall banging my arm or anything. Maybe I slept in a weird way. That side of the arm is where I got the flu jab, but way higher up. And much lower is where I had the blood draw.

This is all freaking me out.

According to the descriptions of the abnormal ranges of blood work, I have

MONO/EBV
Thyroid disease
Kidney malfunction
Low vitamin D
Prediabetes

I'm a hot mess!

And I took the blood draw BEFORE I got the vaccinations. I made sure of that.

Am I dying?

I don't know what MONO/EBV is, so I will have to do some reading. I hope you will be okay!

Apparently, my primary care doc missed telling me this. I looked on my results to find it.

I have no idea what a high score of MONO means. It's abnormal and out of range high! It may be connected to EBV, which I'm assuming by the way. EBV stands for Epstein Barr Virus. MONO is related to EBV, and MONO = mononucleosis.
