Has anyone tried The Obesity Code Cookbook?

I remember reading my PA's copy of The Obesity Code, which discussed intermittent fasting and protective factors (fiber and vinegar), but not the actual dietary plan.

I did lose 30 pounds without trying when I was sick with a respiratory infection for three months back in 2020, and I managed to keep it off for the first six months after that by trying out the intermittent fasting on my own coupled with eating a low-carb, low-sugar diet. However, that became short-lived (primarily because I couldn't cook, and because I wasn't yet able to get fresh vegetables or fruit - everything was processed). I gained all the weight back - also without trying.

But now I should be able to donate a lot of the processed foods I purchased in the event of a lockdown (which never happened), and I should be able to replace those with fresh foods again.

I am waiting on that book to arrive in the mail. Target sells it. I'm sure other places sell it, too.

I am prediabetic, so the diabetes code doesn't really apply to me yet. I'm guessing that The Obesity Code Cookbook describes ways to both reverse diabetes and reverse those extra pounds and fat - at least from what I assumed from the same author who wrote The Obesity Code book I read last year.
