I went to T today and my T has asked one of my part, monster, to take a weeks vacation from doing his job. Monster is really reluctant to do this. He thinks we are trying to get rid of him. I don't know if he will but it sure is a good idea I think.
This was all sparked by a conversation about the fact that I have been getting more compliments at work and I really can't take them because of the thoughts he has been giving me. Can you let one of your parts take a weeks vacation? POOH |

(((((((((((((((((((poohbear)))))))))))))))))))))))) yes...there have been times that almost alla us have taken vacations from our inside jobs...some on conditions that they know that they r respected for what they do...some on conditions that their negative attitudes stop immediately...an some on conditions that they immediately stop their si... i hope u can find the happy medium that will be a rest for all of u includin monster...an i hope that he dont feel like hes not wanted or needed... abbi

Well it happened.... Monster is on vacation. It is nice and quiet on his part and the other parts are extremely happy. My T wants me to take this time to consider who I am. I know I am a person who doesn't particularly like Monster. I really don't want him to be a part of me. I don't want him to return from vacation. I want him to say gone forever! I don't like him and I don't like the person I become when he comes out and the things he does to me. Is this go wrong?

We are glad Monster is on vacation.
I can relate to not wanting him to come back. I have an alter that is somewhat like Monster, I don't like her or what she does to me either. BIG (((hugs))) for you. |

no, i dont think that is so wrong pooh...i think many of us have parts that we dont like...an dont like what they do ta us...the only thing i can say is that somehow u hafta make peace with him...an give him a different job he can do without makin u feel bad when hes out...he may want another job but just dont know how ta find it...i know its scary when hes out cuz we too have one like that...an we know the less she is out the better for us an she is very adamant about bein out an wantin ta do us harm...we will think good thoughts for u an hope that u find a happy medium for all of u ta co-exist with ALL of ur parts...just keep comin back an askin questions cuz questions r good an can help u figure things out in a more linear way...iffn u need ta pm us please feel free...
