each time he tells me he says, "I already told you this." It is at this time that I vaguely remember him telling me. Is this a component of DID?

Thanks much.

It can be a symptom of so many things. If this is interfering in your life, it might be helpful to get tested (physical exam as well as mental health exam) to find out what's going on. Please take gentle care as you figure things out.

Could be so many things other than DID. Things like ADD and short term memory loss come to mind. Even sleep deprivation. If you notice a trend with this talk to a medical doctor about it and not just mental health doctor.
