didn't really happen at the time even though I know that it did because I have clarified it with him? A part of me feels like I was not present even though I was. Is this what dissociation is all about?

Thanks for the help.

Yes, that sound right to me, Slick. I've had that happen with my mate before. We were together and then the memory of it was totally gone. It was kinda freaky, but someone who can handle it was out and some of me just went away that didn't want to be there for that even though he is not a bad guy or anything.

Sometimes I see my T and as I leave I remember the whole session and then a few minutes or hours later and much of the memory is gone. I was co-conscious for much of it and then it just disappears. I dunno?! It is what it is.

yeah thats happened to me before. Some parts of me like it more than others. Some intimate times i remember but some i don't and some just feel like assault even though its consensual. Does that make sense?

Yep, happened to me lots when I was HAVING S*X. These days after 27 years of marriage and dating my husband 7 years before that. It hasn't been one of our priorities, too much baggage I haven't worked on yet.
But yea we dissociated very, very often during s**.
