smart mouth went to church-LOL

......AS all those that have been reading my story here on line. WE decided to share what a typical day at church has become for us. To begin with the majority of this town knows us to have DID/MPD. Each of them has their own unique story about who or what we are . We keep telling them to write it down for us so that we know how we all live but you know talk is cheep and not one of them are willing to share my (our) story with me. Now doesn't it make you wonder the authenticity of these stories if they are not able to bring themselves to sit and talk with the "body" about it. .........
......The reason we still go to this church is that the pastor and his wife makes the Dalmatians feel safe. He has an uncanny ability to know when we need him near us to protect us from others that make us feel unsafe. This man is a real man he truly walks his talk and is willing to stand on his conventions. I have been to other churches even the Unity church I was forced to leave because of malice gossip. In truth he is the only pastor that has not only shown us respect but protected us to the best of his ability from the darkness found in some church members.
....Now when we are in a good space this is comedy central.The first one there asks us questions to see if we remember(aka to see if we switched ) why they are so concern about this we don't know unless it to cover their butts from all the stories they told. Now this is a story on what not to do but we let Smart Mouth do it any way, because it can be turned against you. Well back to our story, Smart Mouth was sitting in the kitchen enjoy a cup of hot coco and fudge that this one lady always bring. I was typing a short story for this page as well. WE were enjoying the conversation when Smart mouth said boy I wish we had more hands it hard to type and hold a good cup of hot coco. She did not fail us, she came up to us and told us that one of my part would just have to put something down.WE just started laughing and we looked at her raised our cup and said to her, your learning girl, your learning.
....Later in the main room before church started one of the good guys came up to us and talked with us. We enjoy our talks with him he make us laugh and his wife and son talks with us to they all be nice to us. This conversation was no different. WE talked about Nobel prize winners and other things like that. Then he went to talk about all the blessing that god has given to his family. He even asked if I would be interested in his son. We told him we like him a lot but he not loved by all in the body. he smiled and said he understood. We told him when we get married we marry for all parts not just a few that way all happy and loved. WE live in truck if we have to until the one that is meant for all of us comes into our lives.
.... that is when the sermon started the pastor told a story of how an unwed teen mother stayed in school continued on the cheer leader squid but her family church turned their backs on her. It was her mother that came to the pastor asking for him to baptize the child. He talked with the girl and made sure that this is what she wanted then went to bat for her with the church leaders. He was able to perform the baptism and unite the church cause he reminded them that Mary was no different from this young mother. She gave birth to Jesus under the same circumstances.
We all have to live with our choices but forgiveness is grace. some of us wanted to cry cause we felt so much like the girl he was talking about but he looked at us said you are wanted. we just smiled.
....As we were getting ready to leave a couple of people approached us with concern about staying in our truck. We reminded them that to us it was a blessing. One we got up to 12 hours a day that we did not have bigotry shoved down our thought . second we would rather be close to god not close to rich folks full of **** people. Third the acre-min for EGO is easing god out. fourth uncle sam has yet to accept a severe case of the bigotries to qualify for social security . So I am waiting for god to provide me a cure from the severe case of bigotries. so that I can go to work with out attacks form the bigotry. Even though I can ignore most attacks they can still be painful with out the proper medicine to counter react the symptoms.
...Needless to say one group dropped mouths the others laughed and shook their heads . God is good when you can see the comedies of airs take place.

We had one person tell us that most people don't mind us they just can't be bothered with us, church or elsewhere. The only thing maybe we can do is set the task before us to bring awareness to various communities like they have with other disorders. WE have to advocate for ourself/ves. Maybe getting some funding and have a coference. But when we are ready a few at first.

They are so overtly mean as to be not really loving, but he is a 'real man'.

We think smart mouth is a pretty 'cool egg', using humor to her advantage but must be very clever to do this so as not to backfire. We think she can handle.

Yes, this might be a nice try but how you find someone to love all the parts except you love all the parts amongst your parts first yourself/ves. Well, we think this about Honey too. How can they love us less we love ourself/ves first.

How affirming!

We all have to live with our choices but forgiveness is grace. some of us wanted to cry cause we felt so much like the girl he was talking about but he looked at us said you are wanted. we just smiled.

Anderson See is so possible, not only to be loved but to feel loved. We are sure of it! We hope they can say let the stream of tears fall for this tender grace.

Maybe we can strengthen each other enough to start our own advocacy, never to be left out to be considered, not disregarded as if to be non-existent with DID. We have tenacity to do, go for funding and other's support...this window shopping dream will come true.

The proper medicine (maybe other than the Doctor medicine) is if we all support each other and get some space and time and provision as to make for awareness. Waiting works but sometimes calls for action too but we will help do our part.

We did improv to build confidence after finding out what we have...it worked to make us laugh and get some of us out again and sometimes we played ourself. We loved to laugh, so healing.



PS Sorry we lost the colour of your words Anderson, we are soooo tired but wanted to be supportive and congratulate those 'nice' church people (but not the bad ones) for being so loving!
