Hi everyone, I already introduced myself in the Introduction forum. But I wanted to introduce myself here seperately.
I was very recently diagnosed with DID - even though my psychiatrist had known for a while, and parts of me have suspected such a thing but it never really got through to me... I have done SO much reading on the topic, did a paper on it in school, but never realized that I could have DID. I am still in denial a lot of the times. I am a bit nervous posting here. I don't really have any questions atm. but I wanted to let you all know that I am here and reading. -Realities |

 to the Dissociative part of PyschCentral! Just as you read know that the chat guidelines are important as well... I run 1 of the chats on Dissociative Disorders on Thursday nights however this Thursday there won't be chat.Don't be nervous... we don't bite here  I am so glad you found us all and it's just Not right to be alone and not bounce ??'s off of people here.I am glad I was able to meet you and just take your time... were just glad you found you some good ole support! Hey Realities!!!
 Welcome to PC and the DD forum!! Being diagnosed and starting the journey of learning about who you are inside is a scary, yet wonderful thing. I was diagnosed in February and have been here at PC since March. This is a great community and although there are occasional bumps in the road...we all work together to sort things out. Glad you found us and look forward to seeing you around the forums!! Happy Holidays!!!

I used to bounce in and out of denial like a ping pong, even when the evidence was in my face. One of the most important thing is to relax. You are where you are. Here is a good place for info and support.
